Technology that solves real business problems.
Representative engagements across multiple industries. Client identities are intentionally omitted; the business challenges, solutions, and outcomes are real.
Law Firm Technology Modernization
A law firm needed to replace an aging, server-based real-estate closing platform with a modern web-based system. Global Solutions reviewed the firm's software needs, evaluated the transition requirements, and developed a plan to move from SoftPro to Qualia.
We managed the implementation and transition, learned the new platform from a support perspective, trained users, and established an ongoing support model.
The firm moved from antiquated on-premise software to a modern cloud platform while maintaining a knowledgeable technology resource after implementation.
Healthcare Cloud & Infrastructure Transformation
A healthcare-focused organization needed to modernize aging on-premise email, file storage, communications, endpoints, and network infrastructure while maintaining HIPAA-related technology requirements.
Global Solutions migrated email to Microsoft 365 with enhanced email security, moved file storage to SharePoint, coordinated a new VoIP platform, upgraded the primary Internet connection to dedicated fiber with a redundant backup circuit, added mobile device management, refreshed desktop hardware, migrated user profiles, and strengthened perimeter security with a new firewall.
One coordinated program modernized cloud services, communications, connectivity, endpoint hardware, mobility, and security while minimizing disruption to daily operations.
Business Management Software Transformation
A growing landscape services organization needed guidance selecting a new business management platform. Global Solutions researched the leading systems, participated in demonstrations, tested the products, and evaluated how each would fit the organization's actual business processes.
After Aspire was selected, we managed implementation, developed in-depth product knowledge, trained users, and became an ongoing support resource. We later repeated the process for landscape design software and implemented PropertyIntel.
Global Solutions continues to work directly with the software developers to discuss enhancements and communicate what works—and what could work better—for the client's operational needs.
Manufacturing Technology & Systems Support
A custom manufacturing company relies on specialized technology in addition to conventional computers, servers, and business software. When a waterjet machine experienced a major failure, Global Solutions worked directly with the manufacturer's international support team to diagnose and repair the hardware and upgrade the software platform.
We learned the new Taglio software, trained employees, and established ongoing support for the system. When an unrelated payroll timeclock later failed, we quickly identified a workaround and restored the system before the payroll process was disrupted.
The engagement demonstrates a broader approach to IT: if technology is critical to the business, we work to understand it, coordinate the right specialists, and keep it operating.
Multi-Location Healthcare IT Integration
As a healthcare practice expanded into multiple markets, Global Solutions designed and implemented the technology infrastructure needed to connect its offices. We coordinated Internet and phone providers, established reliable connectivity, and implemented telephone systems that allow calls to move between locations.
Each office operates an independent digital X-ray system and server. We connected the locations through secure VPN links so images captured in one office can be viewed from the others. When legacy browser technology prevented the X-ray application from working with modern browsers, we developed a controlled method that preserved access from examination rooms without forcing an immediate replacement of the clinical system.
Global Solutions now supports the practice's hardware, software, networks, healthcare management technology, and digital X-ray environment while advising on HIPAA requirements as they relate to technology.
Multi-Location Pharmacy Technology Optimization
A multi-location pharmacy organization needed to replace obsolete computers running its pharmacy management platform. The software vendor offered preconfigured replacement systems, but the cost was approximately five times that of comparable standard business desktops.
Global Solutions sourced appropriate hardware for roughly one-fifth the cost and worked directly with the software vendor to develop a standardized image that could be deployed across the new computers with minor workstation-specific adjustments.
The approach reduced workstation replacement costs by approximately 80%, saved the organization thousands of dollars, and created a repeatable support model across multiple locations.
